Firstly, Bryan Bruchman wrote a lovely little review of our set at Slainte last Friday for the Portland Phoenix. Check it out here. A favorite quote:
"The crowd was thin, but those who paid attention were fully consumed by the haunting waves of delayed guitars and vocals that filled the room — especially during a stunningly dreamlike rendition of Bruce Springsteen’s “I’m On Fire.” Battick’s sound is developing at an alarming rate, getting bigger and darker with each move. Though still a young musician, it’s clear that the prolific songwriter has a lot of musical ideas inside him that will manifest publicly in the coming years"
And now, for the MASSIVE NEWS. The good fine folks at [Dog]&[Pony] have set their sights on expanding into a full-fledged record label, and they've invited us to be one of two premier recording acts for the immediate future. We are extremely honored to take up this creative partnership alongside our dear friends, Good Kids Sprouting Horns. Look for massive new changes and output in the coming year, as we look towards several new projects with Nick & Krister.
In addition, Nick has been kind enough to make us a facebook fan page. Become our fan here and receive current news concerning our projects, shows, and all the rest.
